Overview关于GPED

The Global Power Emissions Database, GPED, is a new database of global fossil fuel- and biomass-burning power-generating plants and their emissions as of 2010. GPED is based on the WEPP database to compile the basic operational information of generators, and replaced basic information and also added emissions data for plants operating in the U.S., China and India using the more comprehensive and reliable data contained in the regional databases eGRID (available at: https://www.epa.gov/energy/egrid), CPED (Liu et al., 2015) and ICPD (Lu et al., 2012 and 2013), respectively. The development of the GPED was led by Tsinghua University (Qiang Zhang) with input from Argonne National Laboratory (Zifeng Lu and David Streets).

GPED(Global Power Emissions Database)是2010年全球火力发电厂排放数据库。该数据库基于WEPP全球电厂数据库开发,通过耦合高精度的区域电厂排放数据库,包括eGRID(美国),CPED(中国),以及ICPD(印度)建立基于机组级别的全球火电厂排放数据库。GPED数据库由清华大学主持开发,美国阿岗国家实验室David G. Streets博士和吕子峰博士提供了数据支持。

GPED database encompasses 231 countries or regions and all generating units that burn coal, oil, natural gas, biomass, or other fuels with their emissions of CO2, NOx, SO2, and primary PM2.5 as of 2010.

GPED数据库提供了2010年全球231个国家和地区的火力发电厂人为源污染物和温室气体排放数据,包括SO2, NOx, 一次PM2.5, CO2四个物种。
